The Living Donation Conference has gone virtual! Although we wish we could be in person in Clearwater Beach, to ensure the safety of our attendees, speakers and staff the 2021 Living Donation Course will be held virtually. The Introductory Course will be held over May 6 & 7, and the Advanced Course will be May 13 & 14.
Presentations will be pre-recorded. The speaker will be present in the chat feature of the platform and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the presentation.

Objectives
INTRODUCTORY TRACK
- Discuss CMS and OPTN/UNOS regulatory requirements for living donor programs.
- Outline the live donor process from intake through long-term follow-up.
- Describe the medical evaluation of the living donor, including assessment of short and long-term risks.
- Describe the surgical evaluation and procedure for a living donor.
- Describe the goals of informed consent for living donors.
- Outline the financial considerations for living donation.
- Identify required elements of the donor psychosocial assessment.
- Identify elements of the Independent Living Donor Advocate Interview.
- Identify the basic principles related to histocompatibility that apply to living donor transplantation.

LIVER TRACK
